Sales and Events
This internship encompasses a wide variety of skills sets and learning opportunities. The intern would assist the sale and events manager in planning and executing three major events, as well as daily work required to service our members active on the World Qualifying Show Circuit.
Applicants must be enrolled in an ag-related major and should be self-starters who are detailed-oriented, outgoing and have the ability to work well with all types of people. Travel to events should be expected as part of the internship.
Internship dates are flexible and the student’s available dates/hours should be detailed when applying.

Trails Magazine/Marketing
The Trails Magazine department offers internships that give a student the ability to learn tasks or expand skills such as proofreading, writing copy, creating social media posts, creating e-blasts, photography and many other skills involved in a publication and marketing environment.
Applicants may be pursuing a degree in ag journalism, ag communications, marketing or graphic design. The applicant should be detail-oriented, have a working knowledge of a Mac computer, enjoy writing content as well as researching cattle-specific topics, and be willing to perform a variety of tasks in a deadline driven environment. This position will be required to travel to our events to not only gather materials for or to promote Trails Magazine, but to also offer support to the event as needed.
